Thanks to her massive success in 2024, Swift has been nominated for six awards at the upcoming American Music Awards on May 26, following her two recent wins at the BMI Awards last week. Her music continues to top charts—and on Thursday, a major milestone was announced by "Swift Charts."
It was revealed that Swift’s 2022 hit album "Midnights" has officially surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify in 2025 alone. That makes it her fourth album this year to reach the 600 million stream mark, making her the only artist in the industry to achieve that feat across four separate albums in 2025.
Taylor Swift’s impact on the music industry remains second to none. While many fans are speculating that she could make an appearance at the upcoming American Music Awards—possibly with a major announcement—nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Swift already holds the record for the most AMA wins in history, with 40 awards from 49 nominations—an astonishing achievement. This year, she’s up for six more, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (The Tortured Poets Department), Collaboration of the Year (Fortnight with Post Malone), Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Pop Album (The Tortured Poets Department).

Swift is also one of only two artists with three albums that have surpassed 10 billion streams on Spotify. Remarkably, on Wednesday, she ranked as the second most-streamed artist on the platform, even outpacing country star Morgan Wallen—despite the fact that Wallen just released a new album, while Swift hasn’t released new music in over a year.
